With all due respect to my friends in the lone star state, there ain't nothing bigger than Alaska. Here are a few pictures to help illustrate this point:
Flat-Top is a state park near Anchorage, Alaska. It's a fairly easy hike to the top by Alaska standards. First image shows everything from the parking lot to the summit. You can see the path and hikers making their way up.
The second image is a zoom on the top. Notice the hikers standing on the summit.
Seward is the location of an annual Annual Mt. Marathon Race. Racers start in downtown Seward and run to the top of Mr. Marathon, then back to town. The first image is taken from main street in Seward. You can see the path to the top.
Image #2 shows two hikers making their way to the top.
The glacier tour was probably my favorite part of the trip. It's amazing to think that the glacier is six hundred to a thousand feet thick! Here are a few images to help with perspective. Note, the hikers in image one are probably 1/2 of a mile in front of the glacier!
Image #2 shows the big picture.
Another perspective on the glacier. Our captain said the airplane in the image was probably flying in front of the glacier.
